New video solutions, decision-support tools and staff added to help employers with digital communications
If growth comes in waves, this year is shaping up to be a tsunami for us at Flimp. Based on last year’s revenue growth, projected renewals and new sales, and the expansion of our broker partnerships, we’ve been busy laying the groundwork for significant expansion again this year with fall open enrollment booking up fast. We’ve hired new staff in video production, project management and client services to better serve the needs of our customers, especially in the wake of the new and improved products we’ve released this year.
Video Production: Improved Process Makes It Easier for Clients
We’ve worked to streamline our video production process to make it easier, faster and more affordable to customize videos for employee communications this open enrollment season. Script templates are available for those who need help getting started and our team developed a new project management tool to make communication between client and production teams easier for everyone involved. Deadlines are crucial on both sides during this hectic time and this is an easy way for everyone to check in regularly and stay on top of where the project stands.
Animated Video Library: Expanded with New Titles Available for License
Also making this open enrollment season easier for clients is our expanded animated video library for educating employees on HR, benefits and voluntary insurance topics. We have more than 30 short videos explaining the basics of high-deductible health plans (HDHPs), health savings accounts (HSAs), life insurance options, medical jargon and more. The videos can be licensed annually for only $500 per video and we’ve put together multi-video packages for our broker partnerships. These videos make it easy and affordable for companies to educate employees about the fundamentals of benefits with the flexibility modern, diverse workforces demand.
PLANselect: New HSA Calculator and Spanish-Language Features Available
In high demand this open enrollment season is our new benefits decision-support tool, PLANselect®. Released earlier this year, the response we’ve received has been overwhelmingly positive. Developed by a physician-led team of industry experts, PLANselect allows employers to offer help to their employees looking to choose the best healthcare plan at the best value for their specific circumstances. It only requires users to answer four simple multiple-choice questions, none of which require invasive personal details or medical histories. The proprietary algorithm provides a personalized financial analysis and plan comparison, which considers premiums, employer HSA contributions and expected out-of-pocket costs (co-pays, deductibles). In just minutes, this tool provides unbiased, credible, independent data that users can trust. Since we initially launched PLANselect, a new HSA module has been added that will help employees determine how much they should contribute to their health savings accounts, along with a Spanish-language option.
