Flimp Communications Gearing Up for Record-Breaking Benefits Open Enrollment Season

New Video Solutions, Decision-Support Tools and Staff Added to Help Employers with Digital Communications

The increasingly complex healthcare and benefits landscape has HR teams looking for better digital solutions to engage and educate employees. Earlier this year, Flimp introduced a new benefits decision-support tool, PLANselect®, that employers can offer to their employees to help them choose the best healthcare plan at the best value for their specific circumstances. Developed by a physician-led team of industry experts, PLANselect requires that users only answer four simple multiple-choice questions. The proprietary algorithms provide a personalized financial analysis and plan comparison, which considers premiums, employer HSA contributions and expected out-of-pocket costs (co-pays, deductibles). In just minutes, this tool provides unbiased, credible, independent data that users can trust. Additionally, a new HSA module is about to be released that will help employees determine how much they should contribute to their health savings accounts.

Next, the Flimp team streamlined its animated video production process to make it easier, faster and more affordable to customize branded explainer and PowerPoint videos for employee communications, presentations and online training. Script templates are available for those who need help getting started and a new project management tool was developed to help teams track the video production process to keep everyone on schedule. Flimp’s motion graphics style options have been refined to reflect the range of corporate cultures their clients require from formal to casual.

Flimp also invested in the expansion of its library of animated HR videos used to educate employees on a variety of HR, benefits and financial wellness topics. Examples include high-deductible health plans (HDHPs), health savings accounts (HSAs), 401(k), life insurance options, medical jargon defined and many more. These corporate videos can be licensed annually for only $500 per video including hosting and tracking. Multi-video license packages are available for insurance brokers and HR consultants. The pre-produced videos are designed to make it easy and affordable for companies of all sizes to educate and inform employees about common human resource and medical benefit topics.
