Flimp Communications recently released a new employee video communications case study report that highlights results from 40 employee benefits annual enrollment campaigns conducted with 27 large US employers using interactive video postcards. The tracked video postcard email campaigns were sent by internal email to a total of 173,466 employees. The average employee engagement rate across all campaigns was 78 percent and the average employee response rate was 94 percent.

Aggregate results from the employee benefits video communications campaigns were as follows:
• A total of 173,466 video postcard emails were sent in 40 separate campaigns
• 135,542 employees viewed the employer video postcard content = 78% engagement rate
• 127,160 employees who viewed the video postcard content took action = 94% response rate
• Average employee video postcard viewing time was 3.5 minutes
• Total employee viewing time was more than 8,100 hours or 11 months
The report provides detailed employee engagement and response data from 40 video email communications campaigns to announce annual benefits open enrollment to eligible employees. Employers included a broad cross section of well-known public and private corporations and organizations located throughout the United States and Canada.
